Off-Road Tours

At Smoky Riders, safety and fun go hand in hand. To make sure everyone enjoys the ride, please review our tour requirements before booking.

Driver Requirements

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and present a valid driver’s license at check-in. Each driver must be properly seated in the vehicle, with their back against the seat backrest and the seat belt fastened securely. The driver must be able to hold the steering wheel with both hands and reach the full stroke of both the brake and accelerator pedals using the right foot, while keeping the left foot firmly planted on the footrest. Drivers are responsible for operating the vehicle safely at all times and must follow the guide’s instructions throughout the tour.

Driver Identification & Payment Requirements

A valid state-issued driver’s license and a credit card are required at check-in. The payment card must match the name on the driver’s license; the cardholder must be present. This ensures a smooth check-in process and confirms that all payments are authorized and secure.

Waiver & Liability Agreement

All drivers and passengers are required to sign a Rental & Release of Liability Agreement before participating in the tour. For passengers under the age of 18, a legal parent or guardian must review and sign the agreement on their behalf to ensure full consent and understanding of the tour’s terms and safety requirements.

Passenger Requirements & Safety

Passengers are welcome on all Smoky Riders tours. Children must meet the minimum height requirement of 36 inches (3 feet) to ride safely. All passengers are required to remain seated with seatbelts fastened at all times throughout the tour to ensure their safety.

Tour Safety & Rules

A safety briefing is provided before every tour, and all participants are required to attend. Helmets and seatbelts are mandatory and are provided by Smoky Riders for every guest. Tours are guided at a safe, controlled pace, and reckless driving or overtaking is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety of all participants.

Safety Enforcement & Policy

Smoky Riders reserves the right to remove any guest from the tour who operates a vehicle unsafely or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This policy ensures the safety of all participants and allows guides to maintain a controlled and secure environment throughout the experience.

Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy

Customers may reschedule their tour without a fee if done at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour time. Rescheduling between 24 and 72 hours prior to the tour will incur a $50 fee per vehicle, and rescheduling less than 24 hours before the tour time is not accepted.

For cancellations, customers are eligible for a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the tour are subject to a $50 cancellation fee, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour.

All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by phone or in person. Tours may also be rescheduled at the guide’s discretion due to extreme weather or safety concerns.
